A statement from the band:
“It is with deep sadness that we must announce the departure of our long term bassist Theo.
He’s been with us since the start, and has been a vital element in constructing what Nycosia is today.
Therefore, we will now be looking for a new bassist.
We will NOT be cancelling any upcoming gigs.
Please share this around, and if you’re interested in joining, please message us directly via Facebook.” (https://www.facebook.com/nycosiaband/)

On May 27th, SIX FEET UNDER will release the fourth installment of their ‘Graveyard Classics’ series, this time paying tribute to two of metal’s most heralded legends: Iron Maiden and Judas Priest! Entitled ‘Graveyard Classics IV: The Number of the Priest’, the album is comprised of five Judas Priest covers (side A), and six Iron Maiden covers (side B), hand picked by Metal Blade Records CEO Brian Slagel. For a first preview, the cover version of ‘Invader’ is now streaming at metalblade.com/sixfeetunder, where the record is also available for pre-order in various formats.
In regards to this new serving of death metal tributes, SIX FEET UNDER founder Chris Barnes comments: “Get ready to have your ears violated and your mind blown! ‘Graveyard Classics IV: The Number of the Priest’ just crawled out of the Heavy Metal Cemetery! Having a good time playing music is what it’s always been about since day one, and that’s what the ‘Graveyard Classics’ albums are to me… a good f**king time! On this trip down memory lane, we cover songs from Judas Priest and Iron Maiden; the two greatest metal bands of all time. Ray Alder from Fates Warning did a guest background vocal appearance on ‘Invader’, our first single. Ray is a great friend, and an awesome vocalist, and I felt our differences in styles blended well together for the middle section and added some harmony to the rawness. I hope you all enjoy the band’s twist on these legendary songs!”

Primitai remain one of the UK’s finest exponents of traditional heavy metal and with their crushing new album ‘Night Brings Insanity’, the band are well and truly back!
Since the release of their acclaimed ‘Rise Again’ album, there have been a number of changes in the band’s line up. With the departure of drummer Chris Chilcott and bass player Jamie Lordcastle it was left to band stalwarts Srdjan Billic, Guy Miller and Sergio Giron to bring in fresh blood to the band. Joining Primitai are former members of Dry The River Scott Miller (bass) and drummer Jonathan Warren, both bringing a fresh impetus to the songs as can heard on the excellent new album. ‘Night Brings Insanity’ features nine riff-based blasts of unadulterated melodic heavy metal, showcasing Primitai at their very best.
The band confirmed ‘We’re very happy to announce that our new album, Night Brings Insanity’, will be released this May! We’re excited to get this new line up out on the road to meet you all!’

Learn more about Primitai;
Primitai had their breakthrough in 2010 upon the release of their 2nd album LINE OF FIRE. Since then they have toured throughout the UK and Ireland, appearing atBloodstock, Hammerfest, HighVoltage, Wacken Cruise and Hard Rock Hell. Their 2013 album RISE AGAIN pushed them to new heights – UK dates with SEPULTURA andSAXON, even greater praise from the biggest metal press, and hitting Europe for the first time. The momentum culminated in a 2015 tour with WOLF, after which the band went straight back into studio. Guitarist Sergio Giron’s talents have injected a finesse and flair to the sound, building on their trademark no-nonsense riffs. With co-lead guitarist Srdjan equally raising his game, the music goes for the throat, with the fresh spontaneity of a debut album complimented with refined song writing and progressive edge. Guy Miller’s vocals match the light and shade of the album, sung with conviction whether laid back or his trademark snarl.
Completing Primitai in 2016 are Scott Miller (bass) and drummer Jonathan Warren, formerly of DRY THE RIVER, with whom they graced the main stages of Reading andGlastonbury, toured North America and released two UK Top 40 albums. Primitai alumni Tom Draper guests a stunning solo on one of the album’s reflective moments, a symbol of their enduring musical chemistry and friendship since his move to San Francisco
Vocal recording and production was once again entrusted to Tom Keech, a winning combination as heard on the Line of Fire and Rise Again. Re-amping, mixing and mastering was handled by Lasse Lammert (ALESTORM, GLORYHAMMER) at LSD Studios near Hamburg, Germany, a very talented producer with an incredibly well equipped studio and fine understanding of contemporary metal production.

RELEASE DATE: 12th APRIL, 2016
British progressive metallers release their finest work to date with third album ‘Reflections’
“Progressive edged metallers Beholder have impressed…excellently crafted and crushingly performed…this is without a doubt the most cohesive collection of songs that Beholder have put to their name to so far” – Metal Hammer
Hailing from the UK, Beholder is a hard-hitting band that has been delivering the goods since 2003.
Having released the studio albums ‘The Awakening’ (2009) and ‘The Order of Chaos’ (2013) the band now embark on their most ambitious and accomplished album to date with the epic ‘Reflections’.
Beholder has been focused on producing an album that replicates their live ferocity, yet showcases creativity along with the desire to capture honest emotions and feelings and place within the melody of the song, whilst creating a fierce array of anthemic tracks that embrace both progressive rock and metal.
In previous releases Beholder have not held back from the fact they are proud of their heritage, yet disillusioned with much of the nation, and the world at large has to offer. This has shaped anger and frustration to the work, and although this remains, ‘Reflections’ is far more optimistic in its approach and has been interlaced with soaring melodies and uplifting chorus hooks to create something special.
‘Reflections’ offers ten tracks of relentless tunes that will leave the listener raising their fists, unleashing their voices and opening the hearts.
With Beholder’s close connection to their fans, the completion of the album was funded by a Kickstarter campaign that reached its initial target in less than two hours.
So it’s now official…Beholder are back!
